Don't do like this
Who wants to listen to me will come to the theatre
Many artists, aware of the fact that a recording, all the more if played with normal PC speaker, does not do justice to their voices, refuse to broadcast audio/video samples of the works. Basically, this thought is correct from the viewpoint of artistic purism, yet it is mortifying for the artist's promotion...

Presence and promotion

The services I offer

Before starting, I will explain what I intend to do, without hiding behinf buzz words. The project can be limited to creating of an official webiste (www.yourname.com) or - to assert one's presence as I suggest, with little additional effort we can exploit synergy derived from presence in many sites hosting singers' profiles.

Furthermore - a rarity for a westerner - I can approach and directly negotiate with Japanese artistic institution, thanks to the mastery of the local language. Japan is a market craving for foreign artists but often akward to approach because of the language barrier (other than for unavoidable logistic costs).

My typical functions are the followings:

  • Webdesign
  • Choice, editiing, uploading and online broadcasting of multimedia material
  • Ghost writer
  • Translation in English, Japanese, Italian, French, Spanish
  • Presence creation on the main sites that can be useful to artists: Youtube, Myspace, Wikipedia, classical music portals, etc.
  • Cross-link between websites to strengthen presence
  • Direct promotion to Japanese organizations (agencies, opera groups..) for performances or teaching in Japan

The services offered. Indispensable is one's official website, possibly expanding presence to all sites that are useful to artists. The material available online can be the base for promotion for jobs in Japan. The numbers show priority.

This is what I am determined to do:

  • To make you findable by who doesn't know you
  • To make you findable by who is searching for you
  • To show all - and nothing else - what is relevant: first of all, your voice (if you are reluctant to make your voice available online, read here), then your pictures, your resumé and anything that marks you out (non-singing-related interests)
  • To arouse interest in the audience and in potential job offerers
  • To make enjoyable contents related to an artistic genre that in itself is commonly felt as awkward to approach
  • To promote an image fit for the art dealt with and at the same time to avoid vanity and commercial feeling, both in form and content
  • To keep control over your online image
  • To instantaneously present multimedia material browsable anywhere to anyone, before they choose someone else
